The challenge for this property was to allow for maximum light ingress, without the typical drawbacks of thermal and acoustic shortfalls. Utilising our international supply network, we sourced 3.6m double-glazed glass walls featuring a custom laser-cut screen crafted in Italy. We imported Belgian aluminium hardware and frames to deliver a glass installation well beyond regular convention found in the finest homes in Sydney’s iconic Eastern Suburbs. The result is a new benchmark in acoustic performance, and thermal management, ensuring the home could be built without compromise and true to the large span glass envisioned in the original design. Together with double insulated walls and optimised lighting and blind automation, we are proud to have delivered one of the highest performing energy efficient homes, and an incredible addition to the picturesque Rose Bay area.
